Vacationing...

Let's go back in time...imagine having this vehicle waiting for you as you disembark the train after a long journey from Boston or New York...I bet it was a pretty jolting ride up the mountainside to your destination!

This vehicle was found, covered in dust, in the back of someone's barn! What a testament to the restoration crew - they sure can take pride in their work! Apparently it should have also had a top, but they couldn't find it. Recently they received a phone call from the grandson of the owner of the barn, and they unearthed it - another project! Hopefully by next year it will be completed for us to view...

Original leather seats and a fur throw to warm your legs...

Well, it does have leaf springs and that would have been a vast improvement over no springs at all. It looks like a pretty neat car for its time.

And even in my time cars did not have heaters, or windshield wipers; and air conditioners came in after World War II but were slow and cost extra like automatic transmissions.

What a find. Can you imagine the excitement when that was uncovered. The fur throw looks like it is still alive. Eeeekk! MB

How fabulous these car photos are. Oh I'm there in this one, my 1920s flapper dress looking just the ticket.

What a story this is. Fabulous car.

That fur makes the shot. How very extravagant!
