Sunflowers

This is one of the reasons why I feed my horses black-oil sunflower seeds. The seeds provide them with a healthy fat source, which helps them maintain weight, and the oil makes their coats super shiny and soft. The bonus for me is that these wonderful flowers pop up in their pastures!!

Interesting--we feed flax seed oil for the shiny coat and good digestive system. Same yet different. Hmmm....MB
