Bunny Super Highway

Scattered throughout the woods there are lots of single Snowshoe Hare trails. However, right along here is what we call a Bunny Super Highway - so many of them have passed this way that there is an indentation in the snow. We were somewhere in the middle, with the trail leading in both directions. I would love to follow it and see where it goes. But, since the dogs were with us, we led them away...

Is it rabbit season? Dont give me that line about it being duck season either. Where is Elmer J Fudd when you need him?

I see the rabbits make their own trails...a really neat photo.

Pretty cool. I like to follow tracks too. MB

Very neat. We went snowshoeing yesterday afternoon out back of our house. Deer and turkey tracks were abundant. Found an area where the deer had pawed the snow extensively looking for snacks. We hoped to find a shed antler, but no luck.
