Salty Science


My son pointed out this license plate for me. What do you suppose this person does for a living? Teacher? Scientist? Some of you might be wondering what is all over that car - it's salt! All the cars around here look like this during the winter, and yes, that salt is eating away at the metal. Northern winters are hard on vehicles too...

I didn't realize that salt got all over the cars, not just the undercarriage. As you can tell we don't get too much snow out here and they don't use salt here either. Great vanity plate. MB

Thanks for posting a picture of my"dirty/salty" car. Boy, winters are rough on cars here! Especially if you cannot find the time to wash it. I am a high school teacher for those wondering. My car tends to be called "The biomobile".
