This is my favorite type of bird. I wish that I could have gotten a better picture, but I saw him out there before I was fully awake. I think I'm lucky I got any pictures of him. ;-) Then, I had to scare him off because he's apparently not afraid of my cat, and yet he should be very, very afraid. She's lethal! I love her dearly, but I really wish that she would only kill rodents and leave my birds alone...

He sure is a handsome bird! Never have seen a Rose Breasted Grosbeak, but we do have Evening Grosbeaks.
I do not think I have ever seen on of these little guys. Thanks for posting.
