If that is a real boot, it is serving a long an interesting career. Now a planter. Looks like it was well worn before it became a planter.
I'm with Abe on this one . . . is this an old boot with a story or two? I'm a great reuser. I have a "slop jar" that I found in the 1900 era house I pay money to the bank for every month. It makes a great planter on my porch.
