Lily doesn't mind the snow! It sure beats the ice that was covering everything last week - the poor horses were stranded out under the trees where there was still bare ground! Their hooves are absolutely useless on ice - it's scary to watch them slip and slide. A fall would be horrible..

Yup. I try to keep all the horses' manes braided so that they don't get tangled.
Love the braided mane. Our horses don't seem to mind the snow tooooo much. they have the trees and a loafing shed and plenty of hay. Just keep the ice off the water. MB
