Here is a photo of the wagon that I described to you during the West Paris Old Home Days Parade and our tour of town. For the past 3 years, our boys have been able to ride in this wagon throughout the Wagon Train weekend. This picture is from last year and they are the 2 boys that are making faces at me while everyone else smiles and waves. Figures, doesn't it? ;-)

As they say boy will be boys.
In the late 50’s when I was a boy I still remember that a covered wagon came though our ranch and stayed a couple of days. There was a family that was doing their best to retrace their ancestor’s tracks on their journey west. Even as a young boy I was impressed and the image of the whole family and all their belongings sticks in my head to this day. So your photo brings back some memories.
