The best way to see West Paris...

...from a horse drawn wagon! It helps you to slow down and just enjoy the ride...
The wagon is a stagecoach replica. We tried to explain to the children that were riding along with us, what it must have been like to ride across the country is such a vehicle - and it would have been stuffed with all our worldly belongings. They are unable to comprehend a life full of work and without stuff...

I like the flags out. Imagine what it would have been like without a paved road.

I was thinking what Jim said. No paved roads. Bumpty bump. But what a cool way to slow life down and we all need that. MB

I think that kind of life might be less stressful!

I'll keep this in mind if I'm every lucky enough to visit your lovely town.

I stumbled onto your blog searching our photographers. Have enjoyed seeing your photos and reading a little about your farm and small town. (I would love to have a chance to tour W. Paris in a horse drawn wagon.)

I have found such great sites--usually by accident. What fun to gimps rural Maine through the eyes of a native.
Have a wonderful weekend.
