While I was outside taking pictures yesterday, suddenly there was this almost overwhelming noise coming closer and closer to me. It took me several minutes to figure out what the noise was - it was a huge flock of grackels that had gathered together for the trip South. They were flying from tree to tree, making an unbelievable racket. I tried really hard to get a picture, but this is the best I could do...
