...from a horse drawn wagon! It helps you to slow down and just enjoy the ride...
The wagon is a stagecoach replica. We tried to explain to the children that were riding along with us, what it must have been like to ride across the country is such a vehicle - and it would have been stuffed with all our worldly belongings. They are unable to comprehend a life full of work and without stuff...
must have been fun!
ReplyDeleteI like the flags out. Imagine what it would have been like without a paved road.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking what Jim said. No paved roads. Bumpty bump. But what a cool way to slow life down and we all need that. MB
ReplyDeleteI think that kind of life might be less stressful!
ReplyDeletesounds a great way to travel
ReplyDeleteI'll keep this in mind if I'm every lucky enough to visit your lovely town.
ReplyDeleteI stumbled onto your blog searching our photographers. Have enjoyed seeing your photos and reading a little about your farm and small town. (I would love to have a chance to tour W. Paris in a horse drawn wagon.)
ReplyDeleteI have found such great sites--usually by accident. What fun to gimps rural Maine through the eyes of a native.
Have a wonderful weekend.
