I'm blind in one eye and therefore lack depth of field and peripheral vision. The hood ornament would help guide the auto into my garage. There isn't even a crease in the metal (or is it fiberglass) to help guide me. It's like shooting a rifle without a scope to aim.
Nice series, Crittoria.slimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02061336303839160271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4657984774021080564.post-54365081265664279832008-08-01T21:37:00.000-04:002008-08-01T21:37:00.000-04:00I suppose these sort of things are ripe for thieve...I suppose these sort of things are ripe for thieves too?
Sydney Daily PhotoSallyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06459567597804197579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4657984774021080564.post-68526429871368340742008-08-01T16:06:00.000-04:002008-08-01T16:06:00.000-04:00I am with you on hood ornaments. Then they all began to disappear and nowadays you see nothing that looks anything like art on any automobile.

Modern cars have no class at all in spite of them costing more than homes used to cost.

I never see a car with a curtain to pull down to keep eyes from looking in. I never see little vases with water and flowers. I never see mohair upholstery or real leather.

Auto manufacturers, like GMC, should lose their shirts and their shorts too. Look at the metal that bears their name or initials.

They could do so much better. Your posts of cars is just an idea of what they could do.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4657984774021080564.post-32890889790944306412008-08-01T14:26:00.000-04:002008-08-01T14:26:00.000-04:00How gorgeous this is and what a fab photo of it.
